User-Defined Service Policies
The
system provides for flexible service policy definitions
(i.e., regular warranty, pre-delivery inspections, rust
perforation, etc.). The system enables you to customize
these policies and create new policies to support new
warranty programs. Each policy definition contains user-defined
attributes (e.g. months, mileage, issue dealer credit,
request vendor payment, ec.) which enable you to configure
unique warranty programs.
Benefits...
With user-defined service policies, you have the ability
to customize the system to conform to your company's
unique service program. As your business changes, or
as new products are introduced to market, the system
can easily adapt to support new warranty programs.
Flexible Definition of Dealer Rates
Because
dealerships are located in different markets, dealership
labor rates will fluctuate according to the demands
and influential factors in specific local markets. The
system allows you to identify individual dealership
labor rates, which are defined with "effective date"
processing. These enable you to set future labor rate
changes to take effect as of a specific date yet to
come.
Benefits...
The ability to flexibly define dealer rates allows you
to adapt to changes and variances in local dealership
markets, as well as set negotiated rates for fleet and
special customers. Changes in labor rates can be made
without interruptions to service activities. |
